Enjoy like deep fried ice cream!

you need:
hard ice cream
white bread
canola oil (ish)
cinamon
sugar

put a pan in the freezer, when the pan is cold you can start. scoop the ice cream into balls that are about 4cm in diametre.

Cut the crusts off the bread and then squish it onto the ice cream (like ptechtonic plates covering the magma centre(ice cream)). Make sure their is no possibility of volcano's and cover all the ice cream (at least 2 pieces of bread).

Now but those bread/ice cream balls in the fridge to freeze all day, or night. They need to be cold.

Heat the oil up so that a pop corn will pop in it, but not so hot that the kitchen burns down.

Take the stuff out of the freezer and them in the oil one at a time. They are done when nice a brown. Probably not more that a minute.

now, paper towel the oil off a bit and roll the desert treat in the cinamon and sugar! It smells like the stampede! or any county fair!

Enjoy right away! Impress your boss, or other people of influence!

Computer data

Failed

all seasons in one day 20 °C

Hello again.

Mom and dad get here in about 3 hours. We are at the library so that Elin can pre-vote before the real vote next week when we will be in Norway.

The weather has been bad, but mom and dad are bringing the sunshine, it's going to be nice next week. A little more summer, +25 and sunny.

So Elin dug up her ancient (like 8 years old!!!) computer. and we have been trying to get it to work.

Anyone know what this screen means? Insert boot disk, or please buy a new computer.

We will probably end up buying a computer but I am going to fight it as long as I can. I think I can fend Elin off until spring.

I might change the website of this blog because this site is giving me pains... I made a site for the people at work and it was a lot easier.

check it out at:
http://robertstarratt.blogspot.com/

So I won't do it yet. but be prepared to change everything. I will post a link when I do. It is just a lot easier to upload pictures on the other site.

Robert.

Budget accommodation in Sweden

Night mission

sting ray

overcast 15 °C

We have moved to Gävle. I can't post any pictures because I am at the library and I only have an hour of time booked.

School is awesome, there are 22 people in my class from 19 different countries. I will list them for you.

canada, cuba, bolivia, ireland, france, russia, iran, irak, palestine, tunisia, gambia, sierra lyon, burundi, algeria, china, vietnam, thailand, india and australia.

The doubles are China and Iran.

Its interesting to go to school with such a diverse group. I am learning as much about other countries as I am Sweden.

Elin is working hard, working on the train, moving out, going to school and going to job interviews. Elin's bike was stolen, but she has another one.

Mom and Dad are here on Friday! yep.
That's one more thing for Elin to add to her busy schedule.

This will certainly go down as one of the busiest fortnights in history, but she is familiar with this sort of pressure. Apparently, as legend has it, during high school, Elin logged in more hours of work (at her two jobs) than school time.

Believe it.

Modern swedish airports take you to Belgium. Our tickets didn't even cover the price of fuel I'm almost certain. There was a terrible fire at Brussels national airport and our plane was diverted to Amsterdam. We hoped on a train and made it to Belgium just in time to catch our connection to the camp site. We made Friends about 20 seconds off the train, and ended up hanging out with these guys the whole festival. There is something about Belgians and Canadians that make a good connection.

Shout out to Clifton. I was going to rob this guy of his jacket for you, but it's not your colours.

bel2.JPG

Racking the wine; no glass allowed in the campground, no problem.

bel5.JPG

Belgians are famous for their waffles, though this guy looks more like Samoan. And they really shouldn't be famous for waffles, but for their beer, AND its BELGIAN fries, NOT french!

bel6.JPG

Would anyone like a Taco? (That’s for Preston)

bel7.JPG

Friet Stoofvlees. The best fries in the world and yes they drowned them in mayo, or adalaise, or tartar.

bel8.JPG

Nathan demonstrates every Belgian’s natural ability to roll a perfect cigarette in the wind with only one hand while standing next to a pole.

The main stage from FAR away.

bel10.JPG

Big trees. Belgium has lots of trees that line fields and roads, they are huge. They must have had a crazy tree campaign 80 years ago.

bel11.JPG

Toilet paper?

bel12.JPG

View from our tent. You can see our friend’s tent that is yellow in colour.

This is why our plane was diverted to Amsterdam on the way in. Fire damage at Brussels National Airport.

That was it! we had a great time. Highlights were daft punk, turbonegro, tv on the radio, eagles of death metal, the raconters, seeing Bram, Nathan, Ben, and Jo.
